Nutfield Candle Company, established in 2002, is a southern New
Hampshire based family operation. In keeping with New Hampshire's
homespun, country charm, we wanted to offer a handmade product
whose elements respect our environment while complimenting your home.
As part of our commitment to our communities, we proudly support
American farmers and manufacturers by utilizing only USA made products
in the making of our candles.
Through trial and error, mistakes and adjustments, we finally produced
the perfect blend of wax, wicks, scent and color. We cannot tell you our
secret, but we can tell you that these hand-poured, scented candles are
made from all natural biodegradable and renewable soybean and botanical
oil blended waxes.
The waxes used are 100% vegetable, made with pure soybean oil from
plants that have not been genetically modified. The waxes contain no
petroleum, paraffin or beeswax products, and are not subject to animal
testing. They contain no toxic materials, including pesticides or
herbicides. The waxes meet all Kosher and FDA standards, and are
considered GRAS (Generally Accepted as Safe) under the Food, Drug and
Cosmetic Act.
Their natural fiber wicks are cored with hemp, and they are touched with
just the right amount of scented oils. The fragrance oils used have not
been subject to animal testing, and most are considered GRAS under the
Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
When combined, these elements produce a cleaner, more pleasant
burning candle; a beautiful candle, which you will look forward to lighting
over and over again.
